Veritas Care of Maine is growing, and we are looking for compassionate, skilled, and dependable professionals to join our behavioral health team.

We are a Maine-based behavioral health and community services organization committed to providing respectful, person-centered, trauma-informed care. We are currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Section 13 Adult Case Managers
Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized services, assisting clients and families in accessing community resources and benefits, monitoring services and needs, collaborating with providers and natural supports, completing required documentation, and advocating for clients.
Preferred qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying human services field
• Experience working with adults with IDD and/or Autism
• Knowledge of MaineCare Section 13 services and OADS requirements preferred
• Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a supportive team

Section 17 Community Integration Case Managers
We are seeking MHRT/C-qualified case managers to provide Community Integration services to adults experiencing serious and persistent mental illness.
Case managers assist individuals with accessing medical and behavioral health care, housing, benefits, transportation, community resources, natural supports, and other services necessary to improve stability and independence.
Qualifications include:
• Current MHRT/C certification or eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in a qualifying human services field
• Experience in behavioral health and community-based services preferred
• Knowledge of MaineCare Section 17 preferred
• Excellent documentation, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, providers, families, and community partners

Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians
Veritas is seeking compassionate clinicians to provide individual outpatient mental health counseling to adults and/or adolescents.
We especially welcome clinicians who bring a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and who value developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with their clients.
We welcome applicants holding or pursuing Maine clinical licensure, including:
• LCSW
• LMSW-CC
• LCPC
• LCPC-C
• LMFT
• Other appropriately qualified Maine behavioral health professionals
Experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, adjustment difficulties, grief, substance use, and co-occurring disorders is highly valued.
Clinical supervision may be available for conditionally licensed clinicians.

Substance Use Disorder Counselors
We are seeking experienced and compassionate professionals interested in providing outpatient substance use disorder counseling and recovery-focused services.
Applicants should understand addiction as a complex behavioral health condition and be comfortable working with individuals at different stages of recovery.
Desired credentials and experience include:
• LADC and/or CADC credentials
• Experience providing individual and/or group SUD counseling
• Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Familiarity with harm reduction, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and recovery-oriented treatment
• Experience working with MAT/MOUD programs is especially welcomed

Psychiatric Medication Management Provider
Veritas is also interested in expanding access to psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
We are seeking a qualified psychiatric prescriber interested in working collaboratively with our outpatient clinical and case management teams.
Potential candidates may include:
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP)
• Psychiatrists
• Other appropriately licensed and credentialed psychiatric prescribers
Responsibilities may include psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication initiation and management, ongoing monitoring, coordination with therapists and case managers, and collaboration with primary care and other healthcare providers.
Experience working with individuals with complex mental health, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring conditions is highly valued.
